This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third grade students are inquisitive, bright, and enthusiastic learners. They are interested in learning and staying engaged in lessons despite the fact that they've been learning remotely. Distance learning has been a challenge for them and for me due to the interruptions of background noise and poor sound quality. A lot of my students live in small apartments or homes where they live with several families.
My Project
My current third graders have been learning from home since March 2020.
They need materials to practice and reinforce their literacy skills.
These workbooks will give them a break from online activities.
They will use Hands2Mind materials that will allow them to practice literacy in a hands-on manner. These activities will allow them to review 2nd grade skills that were taught remotely during the last two months of schools.
In addition, they will also have the opportunity to practice third grade literacy skills that are aligned to the standards!
