This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students look forward to recess every day — a time when they can be active, build friendships, and practice teamwork. But right now, we don’t have enough equipment for everyone to participate in the games they love.

With your support, I want to provide my students with basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, colorful chalk for creative play, and a whistle to help me safely guide their activities.

These simple tools will make a big difference in helping students stay active, engaged, and happy during recess.

Having access to this sports equipment will give all students the chance to build coordination, learn how to work as a team, and enjoy healthy movement. The chalk will spark their imaginations as they create games, drawings, and obstacle courses. And with the whistle, I can better organize and monitor play to keep everyone safe.

Your generosity will help create a fun, positive, and inclusive recess for every child. Thank you so much for considering our project!
