Let’s Play! Recess Equipment for Happy, Healthy Kids
Help me give my students the opportunity to grow stronger minds and bodies through play! We need safe and fun equipment to make the most of recess every day.
My students are energetic, curious, and full of life. Every day, they look forward to recess as a time to move their bodies, play with friends, and recharge for learning. However, our playground equipment is limited and worn out.
Recess is more than just a break — it’s essential for healthy development.
Through play, students build teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. They learn how to share, communicate, and manage emotions. Having access to age-appropriate, engaging recess equipment supports their social-emotional growth and physical well-being.
I am requesting items such as an outdoor storage box, playground balls, jump ropes, hula hoops, and other outdoor games that encourage safe, inclusive, and active play. These materials will be used daily by all kindergarten through fourth-grade students in our school and will make a lasting impact on their school experience.
