This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are reaching out to our community for support in providing baseball mitts for high school students who come from low-income backgrounds and have recently immigrated to our country.
As they embark on their journey in our community, we believe that participating in sports like baseball can not only provide them with a sense of belonging but also foster important skills such as teamwork, discipline, and confidence.
By ensuring that these students have access to baseball mitts, we can empower them to fully engage in their school's athletic programs and contribute to their overall well-being and sense of belonging in the community. Your support in this endeavor would have a meaningful and lasting impact on these young individuals.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
