This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These uniform pants will be worn every game day as we introduce our students to the game of Baseball as scholar-athletes instilling pride, work ethnic, and values.
Athletics provide a healthy outlet for our students who unfortunately deal with many issues that take away from them having a normal middle school experience.
It is so exciting and humbling to see them succeed in not only the classroom but in sports.
Baseball will help hold them accountable in the classroom/community as they must uphold grade and behavior expectations to play and practice. Please support my students by helping provide them with proper uniforms so they can look and feel like they belong on the same field as their other peers.
