FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Miranda's classroom raised $476
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every day my students rush into my classroom excited to build our classroom community into a family. Our classroom is a safe place for them to explore learning and grow into college and career ready learners!
My students live in an area of highest poverty in Central Los Angeles and 100% of our students receive a free lunch.
We are a Title I school and almost all of my students are English Language Learners and they are all also diagnosed with Autism. Many of my students have significant behavioral issues that impact instruction for themselves and their classmates.
My Project
Our school needs soccer equipment for our team to play soccer! Our school has outdated equipment. We do not have soccer nets. Our soccer balls are well loved and it is time for an update.
These materials would have a huge impact on our school by giving us the equipment necessary to take our team to the next level!
Our girls' and boys' team loves playing soccer and we have played as well as possible without two net and with older balls. Every year at graduation, we show a slideshow of accomplishments over the year, and our girls' and boys' team has won first place this year! We are incredibly proud of them and we'd love to update their equipment to show that team sports matter!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
