My Students

I teach in a Title I school that is located in a diverse, low socio-economic neighborhood in the Bay Area. I have 20 eager to learn kindergarten students this year. They enter my classroom every day enthusiastic and excited to learn. My goal is to have a classroom that fosters a love of learning and a wide variety of skills and knowledge.

Kindergarten students love to explore, discover, and be creative, and they need the proper equipment to support their learning.

I want my students to have the materials necessary to foster STEM and STEAM learning and to learn in ways they haven't experienced before.

My Project

Dramatic play and STEM/STEAM activities are essential for the development of young children. By using their imagination and having the necessary materials they can: become anything they want, be exposed to different things, practice and learn about positive interactions between peers, and be creative all through working together.

A table and chairs will ensure that my students can work in a small group to achieve goals and learn many things.

My students will be provided meaningful learning experiences through conducting experiments, investigating, solving problems, creating amazing work, and playing together.

I want to give my students the materials they need to be creative and to use their imaginations while having fun.
