Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help a new generation of budding artists! My students need a new art easel since our current one is falling apart.
I teach a group of curious and energetic pre-K students.
They are hands-on learners and are fully engaged when participating in art activities. They attend a pre-K through 6th grade public elementary school. It is an urban school and most of my students are from low socio-economic status families.
My Project
Art, a hands-on activity, is a vital component of a successful pre-K program. These resources will give my students the opportunity to express themselves artistically. They will be able to paint and create artwork daily and in doing so will expand their imaginations and exercise their creativity. Furthermore, it will develop their small motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
Your donation will make a big difference in the lives of my students by providing them with the opportunity to express themselves through art.
It will have a positive impact on my students' intellectual, emotional, and social development.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
