This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students do not get the chance to work with quality materials due to budgeting. My students want to learn how to oil paint! I am not only a teacher but an artist who specializes in oil painting. I would love the opportunity to share my passion of oil painting with my 7th and 8th grade students.
These materials would go directly to our class projects.
Not only would students be exposed to this new material, they would have a chance to learn about color theory, mixing paint, and how to use texture and layering in their paintings.
This classroom project was brought to life by Arizona Department of Education.
