My Project
Before the brain can function on all cylinders, it must be fed! My proposal includes requests for peanuts to provide protein, fruit bars, and other snacks to promote a healthy lifestyle within the classroom and without. I selected the big box to suit all the taste buds in my class. If you feed the body, you’ll feed the mind and keep the student learning until lunchtime.
Kids learn better on a full stomach and when they are not worrying about pencils and supplies.
If you've never gone hungry, It's hard to understand what it feels like to haven't eaten.
What is learning biology when a student's stomach is hollow? These poverty-level students are always hungry and not always able to get meals at home or their foster homes, their teenage bodies are rapidly growing and requiring fuel.
