My students need my technology tools in their classroom during testing.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Students
A typical day in my classroom consists of students checking in on the classroom website, coding, scanning and creating QR codes, creating, editing and publishing content to our classroom website.
Students have access to headphones, iPads, computers, styluses and even a couple of Sphero robots. My room is a wonderland of technology tools. Students use these technology tools to build vital 21st-century digital literacy skills; computer science, coding, robotics, and creating and publishing multimedia content.
My students are full of dreams and hope for the future. They are hungry to use the tools of their time and to use technology as a powerful thinking, learning and content creation tool. Most of my students don't have Internet at home, and for some, the only time they use computers is in my classroom. I feel a deep responsibility to help my students become comfortable and competent using top quality technology tools.
But for 8 weeks of the school year I am kicked out of my classroom (due to testing) and I take my iPads to the students, in their homeroom. Rolling cases would allow me to bring 30 iPads and additional supplies with me into students classroom.
My Project
I teach in the school Media Center and multiple times a year I am kicked out of my room during testing. So, for a couple of months of the year, I go from room to room hauling 30 iPads up and down stairs, and in and out of classrooms.
The easy thing would be to change my curriculum, show videos, hand out worksheets and not carry the iPads to the classroom, but I will not short change and underserve my students.
Carrying 30 iPads around different classrooms is not easy but it is the right thing to do for my students. Help me take my classroom iPads safely around and the school so I can put get them into more students hands.
