Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Young elementary students are expected to sit in the classroom for long periods of time, but these students are still highly energetic kids! They are full of energy and sometimes need different ways to get that energy out.
Wobble seats will give students the ability to move and groove while still staying focused on their task.
I offer flexible seating in my classroom which includes sitting in a chair, standing at their table, choosing a spot on the carpet or moving in a wobble seat. Providing choice in the classroom like the wobble chairs helps students to be responsible for their own learning.
