The children in my classroom are part of an urban school that consists of a very diverse and awesome group of children. With the lack of effective and efficient materials it is hard to teach my children and increase their ability to close the achievements gaps and engage children for a good educational experiences. I love teaching the children in my classroom because they try so hard to learn.
My Project
These materials will support learning for the children in my classroom when they are outside and playing. With these materials, they will be able to extend learning beyond the classroom. This will consist of literacy, math, social studies and building social emotional skills. The children will have materials that will engage their interest and increase hands on learning opportunities.
A vast amount of time my children do not have materials to use outside.
The use of balls, activity scarves and building toys will increase their imagination and cognitive development for great learning.
