My Students
How could I possibly be able to meet the needs of this diverse group of learners from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards? You can help!
My enthusiastic first graders are taught literacy and content in a Dual Language classroom (English and Chinese) in a Title I school.
Many of the students are English Language Learners and many come from diverse backgrounds. They need to have the tools in order to fill the achievement gaps that have been further amplified in the wake of COVID-19.
My Project
With the rise of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, teaching and learning have changed! Technology classes once thought to be introduced in the upper grades can no longer be the case.
A Macbook Pro will help tap into students' creativity on a new level and allow for a new type of learner to incorporate visual, auditory, and kinesthetic styles through technology.
Students will learn to use platforms like Google Slides, Canva, and WordWall to design and construct reflections of strategies taught in our units of study and create customized, interactive activities to reinforce concepts and skills.
