Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students live in a community where they are sometimes missing the essentials needed for school and just everyday life. For some of them, the school is the safest place they know.

I teach Physical Education & Health in a low-income, diverse, inner-city neighborhood where 100% of my students receive free lunch and breakfast.

My students are children that are sometimes responsible for themselves and their siblings. They work hard to survive in a community that tries to hold them back.

My Project

This will help transform my teaching to be engaging and motivating for my students.

The voice recognition technology is fun and helpful for both students and teachers.

The students can use it for question and answer time during physical education and health class, to play trivia games and especially to define vocabulary about sports and health. We would also be able to use the music part during exercise time.

The assistant would be translating words for my ESL students and describing cultures. The Echo Sub Bundle would be a great add-on to our classes. My students would really appreciate this fun and educational technology tool in our classroom.
