Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will love picking out a letter mat to sit on with their cookie sheets, letter chart, and magnetic letters. Students will learn the names of the letters, sounds, and how to spell words as they move around the room. Students can learn letters as you call out "If you are sitting on the letter Ss stand up!"
Students can learn to make words by sitting next to their peers and sharing their carpet squares to build words.
Students can use the magnetic letters to manipulate sounds to make words.
