My Project

We are learning our letter names and sounds here in Kindergarten! This project will give hands on magnetic letter tiles to support letter name and sound recognition.

As we learn to manipulate letters into words, these magnetic letters and boards will support our reading growth all year long.

Reading begins with a strong foundation in letter name and sound recognition. Then we take this knowledge and build on making words! Finally, students will make sentences and be reading on their own. I love to use the tactile and visual manipulatives along with the oral instruction to reinforce and solidify reading strategies for a strong foundation. This project will provide letters and boards for my small group reading centers guided instruction.
