Let's Make TK the Best Beginning

Help me give my students a new start, in a new classroom with a new TK team. The language arts center activities will help with small group work during our play-based learning.

My Project

Our school is expanding our TK program from students who were too young for kindergarten to students turning 4 by the start of school. These children are younger than in the past, and more hands-on materials are needed over desk work now.

These are some of the center materials that will last until the end of the year for our classes.

We want to make the classrooms inviting and exciting for every student who enters. While the district will supply the basics, the little details will not be readily available.

We are moving from a written focus to play-based in the beginning of the year while still working orally on the skills these children will need to be successful in kindergarten.
