Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This upcoming school year, I will be teaching 18 Pre-Kindergarteners! I am very excited to meet each and every one of them. My class will be a Dual-Language class, where we will learn in both English and Spanish. This year will be like no other, as we will be in a blended learning model!
My Project
This past spring we all learned a new way of teaching. I hope to use the new skills I learned and the skills I already had to give my incoming students the best learning experience possible! It is important to me to provide my students with both asynchronous and synchronous learning opportunities. This year, I will be teaching both in person and remote. Instead of using my cellphone to record lessons, I am hoping to be able to use the GoPro to make fun and exciting recorded lessons for my students. In addition, the manipulatives and reading materials will be used during remote learning. Scholastic Let’s Find Out is a great learning resource for young learners.
