Help me give my students more color in our classroom which will make their learning more enjoyable and memorable. Colored printing will benefit the students and myself and provide more engagement to allow anchor charts to have visuals.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am super excited for my 2nd year of teaching 3K. I am getting to know my students and the supports they need. My 3K students need lots of visual aides and labels to learn within the classroom. We use labels in every area of the room along with words attached. We use labels on their cubbies, chairs, classroom centers, and almost everywhere. However, a colored printer is not provided to us in our school. We have to use our own and the ink is very expensive and hard to keep up with. Most three and four year olds start identifying letters at this age but visuals assist them in beginning to read. By having a colored printer it will help make our classroom more cheerful and brighter. Children are attracted to colors and colors will make their learning more enjoying and memorable. I would love to be able to print bright visuals on anchor charts from my classroom and hang them all around my classroom. It's always a struggle printing from home and lugging all materials back and forth and running out of ink.
