This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class has a wide range of abilities and each student has different needs to be addressed. I want to be able to provide more interactions during storytime for my non-verbal students as well as more manipulatives. I also would like to provide my students with more sensory items.

They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even though they don't know it yet.

They are the future, and I want to give them the best start I can in school.

My Project

I teach in a self-contained classroom where the students are between the ages of 3 and 5 years old. My students learn best when they are taught material in a way that uses all of their senses. Please help us get the paper, laminating sheets, and velcro to help make my students successful.

Every child learns in his or her own unique way.

My students must be involved, stimulated, using multiple learning styles, and interested in what they are learning in order for them to retain what I am teaching them.
