Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are three and four year-olds from an inner city. They are very curious about the world around them, and I want to provide them with ample opportunities to learn and achieve their goals. The urban area that they are from provides many cultural experiences for the students. We want to provide a safe place for the students to come together and learn from each other about what makes each of them special; that is why we are a National School of Character. We are exploring the opportunity to become an Eco-School USA and the students enjoy learning new ways to help the environment and save the planet.
My Project
Three-year-old students love to interact with each other and be social. In our classroom we want to continue this practice while maintaining our distance to be healthy and safe. To do this we need more materials such as a Hold-A-Ring Walking Rope, Sensory Dough, Squish and Squeeze Sensory Beads, and Hear Myself Sound Phones for each student to use.
Please help supply us with hands-on materials to engage every one of our young learners.
With these materials we can provide the students with group instruction that will help them interact with each other and become more social by improving their communication skills. Every student wants to participate and with your help we can continue to give new experiences that each child can enjoy.
