My students need these items to revamp our classroom library. It is my goal to make reading magical and fun. I want to create lifelong readers and these items will help me with fulfilling this vision.

My Students
My students are bright, bubbly first graders who are in a small rural community. They are dreamers, thinkers, and debaters who want to find answers to the questions around them.
Our school serves students in grades K-4 and provides precise learning opportunities and our administrators and parents provide so much support to the staff and students here.
I feel so blessed to be able to teach in such a supportive environment.
I know one day these students will change the world. Our classroom is full of possibilities.
My Project
The books in this proposal are some that we currently do not have in our classroom library and are ones by some of my students favorite authors. The excitement over receiving these books will be amazing.
These flower pillows and scoop seats will provide the perfect environment for my students during independent reading time.
My students love going to the library or having a special reading spot. In fact one of the first lessons of the year is teaching my students how to pick the perfect reading spot. Currently in my room we have a few special reading spots, but often not enough.
