This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It can be easy for kiddos to see reading as a chore or just work. Giving students a variety of choices of books to read can encourage them to pick something out. As well as piquing their interests. Having them read something they are interested in will make it fun and entertaining for them. These books will have students become more excited to read and will encourage them to practice. Currently, we do not have a huge variety in the classroom. Our books are a little older so having a fresh set of books will make it exciting for them.
