My Students

I have the pleasure this year to teach a wonderful class full of vibrant, outspoken, and humble students whom are ready to learn daily. My students are very competitive and always seeking answers to questions they may have. These students come from different areas in Columbus, GA where they deal with poverty, but hungry for knowledge. These students come to school seeking love, nurture, and respect from their fellow peers and teachers. These student have great expectations for their future. My students are awesome and ready to strive for the best.

My Project

My students are in need of HD Fire tablets to make reading and writing fun for them. I believe these tablets will give my students a fun new way to want to read and write more because of the way they like to implement technology in literacy, math, science, and social studies. They will be able to use these tablets for down time and special privileges in the reading center.

My goal is to make sure my students allow reading to become essential and fun in their lives.

I believe by having these fun technology, will allow students to become focus with the use of the headphones to block out all distractions. I want to be able to observe a level of excitement for reading and writing increase in my students' lives. These tablets will also give these students opportunities to utilize in research and projects for other content areas. I want to make sure my students are able to have great resources to use in the classroom to excel in their education.
