Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The target students who will benefit from this project are all multilingual learners. They speak a language other than English at home. Most of them have just arrived at the United States and have learned English for less than half a year.
While we are striving to support them to meet the learning standards by using a lot of repeated drills and practice, we hope these students truly enjoy the learning process and experience that learning is fun!
These phonics and phonemic awareness games will support our phonics curriculum and provide students a space to practice what they have learned in a stress-free environment with their peers.
