This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come into the classroom with a smile, the most beautiful smiles. They will make your day the best day.
Preschoolers are the best and will become lifelong learners.
I teach at a Title I school in Arizona where most of the students are African-American and Hispanic, from low-income households. Most of my students are lucky if they are able to have a backpack full of supplies or even have a healthy meal.
They are our future, and I know all of them have hopes and dreams that can be met with the help of all of us.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door and then back out to our place we call "the jungle".
Our children love being outside.
If we could be outside all day we would. So why not make it more than just playing with outside equipment. Let's integrate liquid water color paint and Kwik Sticks to draw the wonders of the world, but still enjoy the mud making with an outdoor kitchen playset.
Help us make our children'' imagination come to life with a some paint and some love.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
