Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a class of energetic, eager to learn, five-year-old students. For my class project, "Let's Make Our Mark on This World in Kindergarten," I am asking for do-a-dot markers, tempera paint sticks and dry erase markers to use during center time. These resources will help my students learn because they are easy for young children to use to create a fun, mess-free art experience. They offer a balance between the freedom of traditional paint and the ease of crayons, with vibrant colors and a smooth, gliding application. Tempera paint sticks also dry quickly and are washable, making clean-up a breeze. The Do-A-Dot markers will help develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving abilities. They also encourage creativity and self-expression through art. Finally, the expo markers can be used for reading, writing, math and art activities that the children can use with whiteboards.
