Help me give my students by giving them notebooks at the beginning of the year to get started and be prepared for Algebra class with markers that are a bonus present to help them feel successful when taking notes.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders who are general education students with Individual Education Plans (IEP) and mild moderate special education students who live in many different parts of Long Beach, Lakewood, and surrounding areas. My students come from all over to attend this school. The students I work with have learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, autism, emotional disabilities, and are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
All of my students are working hard to succeed in general education courses to graduate high school with a diploma.
They come from diverse social and economic backgrounds and are all working towards their future goals for higher education and careers. Lets help them make their future more colorful with notebooks and flair pens!
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
