This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Music making in a band is a great outlet for creativity and balancing emotions. With practice, patience, and persistence, my band students have the ability to be a part of something bigger and contribute in a meaningful way.
COVID-19 kept us apart and while we valiantly tried to make "concerts" a part of our lives, watching a virtual concert with isolated individuals does not compare to making music with someone sitting next to you and for a live audience.
With these supplies, we can resume engaging rehearsals and perform together.
