This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Teaching in a low-income inner-city community for the past 18 years has been an amazing experience. Much of my teaching has been with third grade and above.
This school year will be a whole new experience for me and my students.
It is my first year in Pre-K and for many of the students, it will be their first experience in school. The past year has been hard for all, especially the families of NYC. It is important that these children are provided with a fun, safe learning environment where much of the learning is through play and fun activities.
My Project
Having easy access to a photo printer will allow us to take pictures and print instantly to capture our best moments. These pictures can then be used around our room to show each other the great moments we have had. The pictures can also be used to show each other what goes on in each of our learning centers.
What child doesn't love looking at pictures, especially when they are of themselves?!
These pictures will also be used to create memory books for each child as a memento of their year in Pre-K.
