My Students
I teach in a nice community outside of Savannah, Georgia. The students in my classroom are amazing and energetic learners. They are constantly looking for new and exciting ways to learn second grade content.
From the minute my students walk in my door, I want them to be excited about learning and for them to experience a wonderful day.
By creating a fun and engaging classroom, I hope to inspire and educate my students to continue their paths to an excellent education!
My Project
I would love to have these materials to help my students when we complete math and number talks. When the students gather together to discuss how they are learning each strategy, it is nice to have hands-on materials or prompts to use with the students.
This resource would invigorate my Number Talk time!
It will help inspire the kids to describe how they completed the problem rather than just guessing an answer. It will give them the resources they need to explain themselves and use their speaking and listening skills to support those Georgia Standards. It will also build community and allow students to learn from each other.
