Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager to learn. They enjoy hands-on activities and I've found that allowing my firsties to have hands-on materials while learning only increases the positive learning experience.
Our current math curriculum doesn't come with manipulatives for students.
My students need materials to help them understand math concepts.
The write and wipe boards, magnetic counters, and visual charts will help my students during our math lessons and small groups. Erasable boards will also come in handy because they can work on various math problems and reuse the boards instead of having to write it all over again and waste paper.
