My Project
Thank you for taking the time to consider donating to this project. Your donation will benefit around 28-30, first graders in a Title I-funded school. My students will be in an 'Integrated Co-Teaching' classroom (ICT) - general education students and students with special needs together. The Kinetic Sand allows for a tactile learning, which will help my students when it comes to remembering sight words (reading and spelling) through the motion of building with the sand or writing on the sand - their choice. The Pop it toys are another great way for students to practice either spelling and phonics. The Snap It Up math game will allow the students a fun way to gain math fluency. The mobile standing desks provide students the freedom to move while learning - instead of being stuck at their chairs/desks.
Every student learns differently and I believe we can agree that learning is more enjoyable when it is hands-on and students' needs are met.
