My Project

My students are incredibly special people and I am proud to be their teacher. I try to teach kindness as much as I can throughout our school day, and this group of students has latched on to that and show their kindness everyday. Whether they are talking to someone new that looks lonely on the playground or are writing kind notes that they want to give to others, they truly inspire me everyday to be better in my life. We make a lot of cards and gifts to give to other people, students, teachers, staff, family members, and the items in this project will go to that.

My goal is to have these third grade students leave our building as better human beings that will make this world a better place.

The shelves in this project are to hold the items being ordered, as well as some other classroom items, I want them to be called the "Kindness Shelves". The carts will be used to travel with us outside to make kind things at recess, or into the hallway to work on projects based on kindness. The items like batteries, laminating pouches, folders, activity book, and Shrinky Dink plastic are to go with some of the activities we would be doing to give gifts. The markers, highlighters, pens, pencils, and blank note cards will be used to make cards and posters for other people and/ or each other. Everything in this project has a purpose for something that will help our classroom family be kinder people and to do good for others.
