After being away from the classroom for the past four years, I’m excited to return and ignite students’ passion for history. To create a dynamic and welcoming environment where students feel inspired to explore the past, I’m seeking support to restock essential supplies, add fresh classroom decor, and bring in engaging new curriculum materials.
With your help, I can provide students with the materials they need to collaborate, create, and dive deep into history, from the early 1900s to the present day.
Our goal is to move away from lecture-style lessons to project-based lessons, always looking to connect history to our current lives and community. I want to enrich the curriculum with stories that students can see themselves in and relate to.
