This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom needs to be restocked with writing materials, games, small group activities, organization bins and much more! The materials and supplies I am asking you to help me with for my students will be used daily throughout the school year. Many of these supplies are to be used during our small group times, which are beneficial in our classroom to support student learning (laminating pouches, bags/pouches, erasers, markers, math manipulatives, anchor chart paper). Small group time is when students learn to work with others, think critically, and become more independent. Some of these supplies will help with student and teacher organization and help me teach them how to be independent, and organized and how to take care of what's in front of them (binder pockets, pocket folders, storage baskets, storage bins, containers). My students will love and deserve to see a well-organized classroom with new and well-taken care of supplies. We have a reading corner in our classroom, I would love for them to have Spanish books they can enjoy! Students love to help around the classroom, which led us to develop a reward system. We have a treasure box that needs to be filled up so they can start buying with money they have earned in the classroom. These are things that will forever change our classroom, and students will love everything!
