Help me give my students dissecting kits, slides, and other materials for a closer look at the world within them and around them!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach Special Education Biology and Chemistry students. The majority of my students are low-income Freshmen and Sophomores who are very excited to learn about the human brain, the human body, and all that Science has to offer. I am not sure who enjoys the Aha moments more - me or them!
My Project
Learning about the world around us is part of the focus of Biology. In the past, my students have really enjoyed using microscopes and slides to discover everything that is within us and around us on a microscopic level.
With the change in the way we will teach upon return to the building, I will need more supplies to give each student an individual and safe way to use microscopes.
Having multiple sets of slides is part of the solution. Also having individual lab dissection kits will give each student the safety they need to get the chance to dissect and learn how things work inside.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
