My pre-k classroom contains a mixture of curious and inquisitive boys and girls who come from varying cultures, backgrounds and abilities. Our school is located in a small community in an urban area, and many of my students live locally; however, I also have students who travel a distance to be part of my program.
Although the boys and girls come from a varying range of social and economic backgrounds, I want them all to have a common, great school experience.
My Project
In my pre-k class, one of the units of study is light. If my class has a light box with the different translucent manipulative letters, numbers, and shapes, they will have the opportunity to learn about light in a fun and exciting new way.
The light box and manipulatives will give my students an opportunity to explore light by using different objects and learning at the same time.
I want the students to use their curious minds in order to learn new and exciting things.
Thank you very much for all of your support. I really appreciate it, and so will my students when they see how much fun learning can be.
