My Students

Our school faced challenges last year with distance learning and is looking forward to in-person learning this year. We miss the interaction between people and would like to return to school safely. Our students are humble and would much appreciate anything that would help make it possible.

We have PreK to 6th graders that attend our school from all over the island.

We have more geographic exception students than students in our neighborhood, at our school. We are a small school where everyone knows each other and treat each other like family.

My Project

Students will be coming to the library for lessons and borrowing this school year. I would like them to be safe and not worry about spreading germs. I have their seats 3 feet apart but I would like to add extra precautions like these plexiglass dividers. I would also like students to still work together in groups, so having these dividers would allow them to still see and hear each other.

These clear dividers will also be used in the mini computer lab we have set up.

Those students run our school broadcast and their computers are barely 3 feet apart from each other. These dividers would give them extra protection from their neighbors' sneezes.
