My Students

My students are curious and eager to learn. They have not had a lot of experiences with regard to science and social studies I am hoping to change this and broaden their horizons. I want them to continue being curious and to love learning about new things. My students are young which makes the inquisitive and thirsty for knowledge. I want them to always ask questions and find answers. My students will benefit greatly from this magazine by showing them current events from around the world.

My Project

I chose Scholastic News magazine because it is a great nonfiction resource that will keep my students up to date and engaged in current events. This is a great supplemental resource for our classroom. Many of my students cannot afford this added cost. This magazine will help with building their understanding and fulfill their quest for knowledge. Scholastic News is also a great tool not only for current events but also a resource for science, social studies, and reading. This magazine is a great nonfiction resource. I also love that this is a weekly magazine which also offers an online component. Students can watch nonfiction videos and play interactive games.
