Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With these supplies my students will learn math, language arts, social skills, concentration, and cooperation, using all their senses. They will get wooden letters, so they can learn the names of the letters and how to write words by combining letters. They will learn simple math, counting and adding with the number boards and number pegs. The sand trays are for the students to be able to use they fingers to trace letters and numbers so they can learn by using all their senses at once.
The play food is to teach my students social skills by sharing the kitchen material and coordination as they have to use the tools that come with the food to cut it into pieces.
