Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach 4-5-year-old students who are just experiencing school for the first time. I have the learn through play philosophy in my classroom. This means the more hands-on, concrete learning materials, the better!

Light tables are a fun and easy way to learn cooperatively!

It is something I can utilize in many different ways. I can use it during small group instruction or even set it up as a tabletop center.

The manipulatives for this project will help in all subjects taught; letters, numbers, shapes, and colors can all be practiced with these items. They are perfect for my beginning learners and can even be used for peer-to-peer learning opportunities!
