This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Young children learn best through engaging play experiences. These materials will help create hands-on literacy and social-emotional learning opportunities for kindergarteners. I will use these materials to create fun and inviting educational centers to encourage phonemic awareness, fine motor development, cooperation, and social-emotional awareness. It is in these areas this year that I realized that students needed the most support. These were also the areas where I was lacking the most resources. The materials I have selected will encourage students' enthusiasm for school and learning. Thank you for considering!
