This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am looking to find ways to encourage team play with my students. Why not learn social interaction outside of the classroom too?

With the donated net, I will teach students how to play the fun and engaging game of pickleball.

The ball hopper will also be a good placeholder for the balls.

Students will enjoy this popular game so much more than just going outside and running a few laps. PE doesn't have to be 100 minutes of torture a week. It can be fun, engaging, and even become one of their favorite subjects in school!

The sunglasses will protect my students' eyes while they enjoy pickleball.
