I have an awesome group of 24 kindergarteners. They are very eager to learn and blossom in Kindergarten. Our school provides rigorous academics, plus extras like drama class, music class, orchestra and horticulture in a safe learning environment. This special group of kids I have this year love to learn through dance and music. They are enjoying themselves and learning. I am trying to provide them a chance to stay active and healthy while still providing the rigorous academics that will help them succeed in the future.
My Project
This year I want to provide my group of students a chance to learn while being physically active and staying healthy. With an iPod I will be able to provide them with a variety of music that will give them a chance to move and learn. The camera that the iPod has will give me a chance to capture the children learning and enjoying themselves. I will then be able to share that with the parents by creating a slide show. Especially for those parents that work and aren't able to volunteer in the class as much as they would like to.
