This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Science is an area that sometimes gets pushed to the side, but its an area the kids absolutely LOVE! We do not have a set science curriculum, and we have to come up with all of the materials we use for science. Our next unit is on the solar system.

I wanted to engage my students in this unit by getting the classroom glammed up & even gift each student with a plant book to take home!

Engagement is so important, and I believe this project will excite my kids to want to learn more and more on the solar system!
