This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to learn and celebrate traditions and holidays around the world. This year, I would like to teach my students about the Lunar New Year. The TpT gift card would allow me the opportunity to purchase teaching materials. These teaching materials, such as readers, interactive Google slides, and worksheets will foster my students' learning about the Lunar Year. I have also selected a book about the Lunar New Year. I plan to use this book as an introduction to our learning about the Chinese and Lunar New Year.
