My students need EcoSTEM PolliNation Kit to learn about pollination in a hands-on environment.

My Students

Reading about pollination is alright but DOING it is even better!!! Imagine building a raised bed for a pollinator habitat. How exciting! With this kit, my students will be able to do just that and much more.

My students will be able to plant seeds to grow a variety of native flowers that provide food and shelter for pollinators.

After they have grown them and observed them, they will be able to take them home, plant them, and observe them all summer long!

My Project

They will also be able to raise and release butterflies from caterpillars. How amazing that will be for these kids! They will learn about what is needed in nature in order for these caterpillars to develop into butterflies and what care they need from us.

By funding this project, my students will be able to have many experiences that they would have just had to read about.

They will have a much better understanding of the entire pollination process.
