My Students

My new home as a special education teacher is a self-contained class. This is my first experience teaching in a multileveled classroom, and I would be grateful for some great resources and items to make my new classroom complete! My students for the upcoming school year have a colorful variety of personalities! I have had the pleasure of visiting many of them in their previous classroom. The students will be a mix of K, 1st, and 2nd graders with different learning abilities. They are a fun-loving group who will benefit from interactive activities to keep them stimulated throughout the school day.

My students will be ready to learn with your help!

All children learn in different ways and I hope to have the tools needed to support all of them. They will help to make this school year a fun and successful experience for all of us!

My Project

I am asking for these lap desks, a document camera and this activity calendar for our classroom because we have been using some of them already and they work! We would like to get additional flexible seating because the students love to sit and do their work using them. The document camera is a great tool to use when explaining work to the students. Many of them are visual learners and will benefit from seeing work projected on the Smart Board.

We love learning!!!

The Math Centers Calendar is particularly important to incorporate math into our morning meeting. We would love having this in our classroom to keep our math skills sharp all day long!!
